Brian Dew
I build data tools and visualizations for macroeconomic research. I've worked across think tanks, international organizations, and the private sector — including the Center for Economic and Policy Research, the IMF Statistics Department, and the Institute of International Finance. Past projects include internal IMF tools for tracking statistical coverage across member countries, an emerging markets finance dashboard, economic chartbooks, and contributions to open-source Census microdata projects. I hold a master's in economics from American University.
BD Economics is a personal project for sharing macroeconomic research, data visualizations, and practical guides for working with economic data APIs. Everything here is open source. I don't collect personal data, run ads, or sell anything.
